Machine for harvesting courgettes, peppers and aubergines

Harvesting and packaging in the field for fresh vegetables

The zucchini, pepper, and eggplant harvesting machine is designed for harvesting and packing fresh produce directly in the field that requires special care after harvesting. Developed in the early 2000s and subsequently updated in 2010 with a technical restyling, this solution was created to improve operational performance and adapt to the needs of modern horticultural farms.

The project's evolution has led to the introduction of a system dedicated to harvesting industrial zucchini, incorporating a rear tipping container and an electronically adjustable conveyor belt. This allows for smoother harvest management and greater continuity in operations along the crop rows, while maintaining direct quality control.

One of the distinctive features of the zucchini, pepper, and eggplant harvester is the ergonomic configuration designed for operators. Each worker works on a single row, usually the right one, picking the produce with one hand and maintaining a stable position as they advance.

This operating mode allows for a more natural back posture, reducing fatigue during intensive harvesting. Working while seated allows for greater operational continuity and better time management, helping to make the process more efficient without compromising the quality of the harvest.

The machine is therefore suitable for a production context where balancing productivity and attention to the product is essential, especially in horticultural crops intended for both the fresh market and industrial processing.

Configurations for fresh market and industrial harvesting

The machine is available in two main configurations, designed to meet different production needs. The fresh market version aims to ensure accurate harvesting and gentle handling of the product, while maintaining high quality standards.

The industrial version, however, features a rear tipping body with a capacity of up to 300 kg and an electronically adjustable product conveyor system. This allows for continuous handling of larger volumes, facilitating harvesting operations on large surfaces and reducing unloading times.

The presence of the conveyor belt also improves the flow of product from harvest to temporary storage, optimizing the entire operational cycle in the field.
