The blast chiller is designed to quickly reduce the temperature of freshly harvested asparagus to 4°C, helping to preserve the product's organoleptic characteristics.
The system uses a water drip system, avoiding direct immersion of the asparagus, a solution not permitted by law. The chilling cycle takes about 20 minutes, with an operating capacity ranging from 20 to 72 crates.
This phase is essential to stabilize the product and prepare it for subsequent processing, maintaining quality over time.

Washing, cutting and selection bench
The processing table allows for seamless management of asparagus washing, cutting, and sorting. The modular structure, available in lengths from 3 to 6 meters, allows the machine to be adapted to different operational needs.
The system integrates:
- automatic washing via belt brushing machine
- automatic alignment of the asparagus on the head
- cutting with stainless steel disc to the preset size
- treadmill belt for easy selection

The optical sorter allows for precise classification of asparagus based on diameter and length. Thanks to the detection systems, the product can be divided into homogeneous categories, facilitating subsequent packaging stages.
The system also allows you to calculate the weight of individual asparagus or bunches. The machine can be integrated with the washing and cutting bench, creating a complete and coordinated line.

Deck tying system

The tying machine creates uniform bunches ready for distribution. Available in a benchtop or in-line version, it is designed to ensure operational continuity even in the presence of plant residues.
The system operates on a 220-volt power supply and compressed air and can bind bundles from 250 grams to 1 kg. The use of rubber bands ensures a stable binding that is suitable for packaging needs.
